第一次看此系列文的朋友,請先移步到 Day 1 – 如何開始?進行方式、自我介紹實戰 哦!
在面試中,很常被問到:「請分享一個你最有成就感的專案。」
以前我會很沒有架構地說,但是後來就變得很像在亂聊。偶然發現了 STAR 法則,就來試試看套用在回答這個問題。
今天的目標:用 STAR 四個步驟(情境 → 任務 → 行動 → 成果 → 成就感原因)練習 1 分鐘分享。
[Config]
- Day: Day5 – Sharing Your Most Accomplished Project
- Scenario: Job interview — describing your proudest project experience.
先選擇一個專案,想一下:
並且把關鍵字寫下來。
我的關鍵字:
記得把對話錄下來,自己聽一次,想想有哪裡不自然。
救命句(簡短切入專案):
One of my proudest projects is…
爭取思考時間:
Let me think about a good example.
描述專案背景 (Situation)
說明你的責任 (Task)
描述行動 (Action)
展現成果 (Result)
說明成就感來源 (Why it was meaningful to me)
今天我說的很順,只是在完成式的語法上卡卡的。
然後在 feedback 的時候,我發現重音放對位置,差異滿大的。GPT 有示範我說的跟他說的 This project make me proud, because ...
,重音放在 Proud 的時候真的很好聽 (X)。
Per-turn Corrections
1. You said: “I was be assigned to refactor a hedging system.”
Correction: “I was assigned to refactor a hedging system.”
Alternative: “I was given the task of refactoring a hedging system.”
2. You said: “The system have been broken for three years.”
Correction: “The system had been broken for three years.”
Alternative: “It had been out of order for three years.”
3. You said: “I met the service more reliable.”
Correction: “I made the service more reliable.”
Alternative: “I improved the service’s reliability.”
Top 3 Patterns
• Past Perfect Tense: Remember to use “had been” for something that was true up to a point in the past.
• Passive Voice without ‘be’: When using passive, say “I was assigned,” not “I was be assigned.”
• Verb Choice: Use “made” instead of “met” when you mean you improved something.
Phrase Pack
• “I was assigned to lead the project.”
• “The system had been broken for several years.”
• “As a result, it became stable and smooth.”
• “I was responsible for designing the architecture.”
• “This project makes me proud because I proved my ability.”
Intonation Tip
Try emphasizing the word “proud” to show your confidence. For example: “This project makes me proud because I made the service more reliable.”
Fluency & Pronunciation Notes
• Good pacing overall; short sentences help.
• Watch out for mixing up verbs like “met” vs. “made.”
• Your clarity improved each time you repeated the corrected sentence.
Key Focus for Next Time
1. Practice using past perfect (“had been”) in a few sentences.
2. Focus on passive voice forms (“was assigned”).
3. Do a quick two-minute drill: pick three sentences and shadow them, focusing on verb accuracy.
